Experience Minimum: Two (2) to three (3) years of experience with computer systems, networking, or technical support Experience Preferred: Two (2) to three (3) years of experience with computer systems, networking, or technical support in healthcare simulation environments. Experience with public sector or educational institutions preferred, * Experience providing technical support in an educational, healthcare, or clinical simulation environment. * Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals. * Experience supporting simulation labs or allied health programs. * Knowledge of audiovisual classroom technology. * Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of simulation and skills labs. * Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. * Follow Department policies and procedures for simulation and laboratory environments. Language Skills: * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. * Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. This position has an integral role in the proper installation, maintenance, and general operation of high, mid, and low-fidelity simulation equipment, task trainers, audiovisual equipment, immersive rooms, and computers used in the training of allied health, nursing, and EMS programs. The IT Medical Technician collaborates with faculty, staff, and IT personnel to maintain reliable and compliant technology systems that support student learning and realistic clinical simulation environments. Knowledge & Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
