## About the Role

* Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
 * Experience with Python development (numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn) for integration into statistical and/or machine learning applications (beyond academic examples).
 * Experience with relational databases management and SQL development.
 * Experience in presenting to executive level management across functional and company
 * Experience applying quantitative techniques (normalization, standardization, applied statistics) to cleanse and explore large, complex data sets in preparation for further analysis., * Experience meeting with business stakeholders to identify and develop requirements for strategic use cases and research opportunities.
 * Experience with design, train, fine tune, deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g. GPT-based, Mistral, custom transformer architectures).
 * Experience in creating repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data products with the advanced analytics team using Scaled Agile Framework methodology.
 * Proficiency with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow.
 * Experience building data visualizations with applications such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.

## Description

* Collaborate across Raytheon, and RTX business units to develop analytic products for agile delivery spanning functional and program areas using AWS and Azure platforms
 * Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
 * Serve as a technical authority and mentor for data scientists, analysts, and business partners.
 * Influence organizational standards by researching and deploying technical solutions for business partners
 * Use commercial software development processes: good software hygiene regarding code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, version control, MLOps concepts, processes, and technologies for solution development
