## About the Role

+ Must be technically savvy and have a deep understanding of Palo Alto Networks products
 + Must have worked in medium to large scale IT infrastructure to gauge customer challenges and be able to suggest creative approaches to problem solving
 + A previous role as leading first customer implementations in other technology companies would be a plus
 + BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
 + 10+ years of technical experience combined with strong management and communication skills
 + Ability to comfortably present to C-level executives and seniors managers
 + Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, Networking, TCP-IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load balancers and other infrastructure components
 + Experience with Public cloud technologies will be a plus
 + Self-motivated with ability to influence and partner with various teams to effectively run internal adoption of Palo Alto Networks technologies
 + Demonstrated ability to develop strong alliances with those outside of your immediate organization
 + Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills
 + Demonstrated experience in executing/delivering projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Not afraid to make decisions and is able to multi-task.

## Description

Our revolutionary, next generation network security products are the vanguard of the enterprise security industry, leading the way in the fight to protect our digital way of life. Before our products ever see the light of day, they are used extensively by employees of Palo Alto Networks and we call this the 'First Customer Network'. Acting as Evangelist, Pre & Post Sales Guru and Product Manager, the Director of our First Customer Network will be the point person for roll-out, adoption and customer advocate for the First Customer Network.
RESPONSIBILITIES

 + Drive the IT alpha/beta rollout, adoption, learnings, and share feedback of Palo Alto Networks products internally with R&D, Product Management, Support, Services and other teams
 + Develop knowledge base and collateral ( White papers, videos, best practice use cases, first customer web site, etc. ) which showcase internal implementations for current and potential customers
 + Present to current and potential customers as part of pre/post sales initiatives to share best practices and learnings from internal IT
