You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution., * 5+ years of experience with aerospace or mechanical engineering

 * Experience with the DoD acquisition process
 * Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
 * Knowledge of FAA Airworthiness
 * Knowledge of Micro sof t SharePoint
 * Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and identify critical characteristics
 * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
 * Ability to work with and present to senior ranking offi cia ls
 * Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Systems Engineering

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with geo met ric dimensioning and tolerancing
 * Experience with DoD Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness ( OSS & E )
 * Ability to coordinate and manage Engineering Technical Assistance Request ( ETAR ) processes and procedures, including AFMC guidelines and the use of AF Form 107 and AF Form 202
 * Top Secret clearance
