## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline
 * 3+ year of relevant work experience
 * Knowledgeable on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Building Mechanical Systems
 * Ability to perform quality work within deadlines, * Master's Degree
 * Demonstrated experience in understanding and using CFD analysis software (FloEFD, STAR CCM+, Fluent, FDS, OpenFOAM, 6SigmaRoom)
 * Familiarity with software development for writing User Defined Functions (UDF) for commercial software.
 * Experience in programming languages such as Python, C++ and Java
 * Critical thinking and problem solving skills, planning & organizing skills, decision making and time management skill
 * Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to clearly communicate research findings through presentations and reports
 * Strong drive for results and continuous improvement, The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.

## Description

* Utilize CFD tools to solve physics-based problems related to indoor and outdoor building flows, thermal comfort, contaminant dispersion and condensation controls
 * Improve existing analytical capabilities by developing and improving best practices, automating processes, and streamlining workflows
 * Maintain working knowledge of relevant computational fluids research in the building mechanical field with proactive research
 * Documentation, reporting, and making technical presentations of engineering solutions to design teams and clients
 * Work independently while communicating and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and project managers
