## About the Role

+ Active TS/SCI +CI Polyclearance

 + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

 + Comptia Security+ At least one Advanced Platform Certification:

 + RHCSA

 + RHCE or Windows equivalent

 + Minimum 8-12 years of progressively responsible systems administration experience.

 + Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise, multi-user environments in DoD or Intelligence Community settings preferred.

 + Experience operating in classified environments., The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

## Description

The Senior Systems Administrator is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

 + Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

 + Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.

 + Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

 + Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

 + Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

 + Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

 + May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff., We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). TheSeniorSystems Administrator maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
