## About the Role

Essential

 * Significant software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise systems.
 * Strong knowledge of Python or C#/.NET development within enterprise environments.
 * Experience developing applications in multi-threaded and distributed environments.
 * Strong SQL development skills, including complex query optimisation and database design.
 * Experience working with SQL Server, ClickHouse, or other high-volume data platforms.
 * Experience building and consuming APIs and developing scalable backend services.
 * Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, version control, and automated testing.
 * Experience within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

## Description

* Participate in the full Agile Scrum delivery lifecycle, including sprint planning, technical design sessions, development, testing, and release activities.
 * Work directly with Front Office, Risk, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and define user stories.
 * Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications supporting Risk and P&L reporting and analysis.
 * Deliver robust, well-structured, and maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration testing.
 * Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices across the development team.
 * Provide 3rd line production support and troubleshoot complex business-critical issues.
 * Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continual improvement of software engineering standards across the team.
