You will develop features, configure systems, build integrations, investigate technical challenges, and create prototypes-exactly where the greatest impact is currently needed. This is not a pure engineering role and not a pure product role. It is operator work with technical substance: you will read and write code, design architectures, work with infrastructure, and reliably bring solutions into production. The decisive factor is not processing tickets but sustainably resolving technical blockers and quickly validating new ideas. You work AI-natively: Claude Code, agentic workflows, and automation tools are part of your daily toolkit., * Identifying and independently resolving technical blockers in customer projects, product development, or infrastructure * Implementing features in the Kotlin backend or TypeScript frontend and targetedly expanding existing systems * Configuring customer-specific workflows, integrations, and automations * Implementing new concepts as prototypes: AI agents, integrations, internal tools, or dashboards * Reviewing pull requests with a view to system boundaries, architecture, and component transitions * Investigating production issues together with the engineering team and taking responsibility for their resolution until completion * Consistently utilizing AI tools: Claude Code, agent chains, MCP servers, and customized automations are part of your standard toolkit, * Not a traditional software developer position with responsibility for a single codebase - you work where technical solutions create the greatest value * Not a pure product management role - you technically implement solutions yourself instead of exclusively documenting requirements * Not a data science or ML research position - the focus is on transforming AI technologies into marketable products * Not a remote-only position - collaborating within the Munich team is an important part of the role * Not a role for people who consider AI tools optional - modern AI development tools are part of your daily way of working ## Related Videos - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [Docker Compose: Rediscovered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1978-docker-compose-rediscovered) - [Kotlin Multiplatform - True power of native code reuse](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/4-kotlin-multiplatform-true-power-of-native-code-reuse) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) - [Docker exec without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1094-docker-exec-without-docker) - [Docker build without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100114-docker-build-without-docker) ## Related Articles - [The Biggest German Tech Companies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/424-the-biggest-german-tech-companies) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Finding Jobs in Germany](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/375-finding-jobs-in-germany) - [Austria – the most livable place for software developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/20-austria-the-most-livable-place-for-software-developers)
