This is a broad, hands-on role spanning cloud and on-premises infrastructure, networking, automation, and developer enablement. The role offers significant scope for a creative, pragmatic and responsible technologist to forge their own path. The working environment features an uncommon dual hybrid cloud and disconnected on-prem nature. It requires a versatile engineer who is comfortable moving between the environments. You will need to be comfortable designing, developing, deploying and operating custom tools to support the organization's research and development teams. The position can be based in either our Ottawa or Washington, D.C. office, with remote or hybrid arrangements considered. Occasional travel to other company sites around the globe, as well as the two North American offices, may be required. Since your closest peers will not be in the same time zone as you, you will be expected to be intrinsically motivated to work effectively, efficiently and collaboratively with remote peers and global customers.
