Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant in our Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you help clients strengthen security operations with Next-Generation SOC capabilities and Cortex XSIAM. You design and deploy SOC platforms, integrate data sources, and automate incident response. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance threat detection and provide concrete recommendations to stakeholders. This role offers meaningful impact on client resilience and security maturity. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design and deployment of Next-Generation SOC platforms (Cortex XSIAM) and SIEM/SOAR workflows * Integrate log and telemetry sources to improve data quality and visibility * Develop and optimize automated response workflows for containment and remediation * Advise clients on threat detection use cases, automation strategies, and SOC capabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions and communicate findings to stakeholders Tasks * Bachelor's degree in a
technical field * 4+ years in cloud, network, or identity security (with 3+ years on AWS, GCP, or Azure) * 3+ years of experience with SOC tools/platforms (Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, Splunk or similar SIEM) * 3+ years in SOC-related activities: detection engineering, automation/playbooks, SOC maturity, data ingestion/normalization * 3+ years of experience with EDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike) and governance/security frameworks; relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCSP, CISSP, CEH) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
