## About the Role

* Education: MS in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. One academic year in a related post-secondary program may substitute for one year of experience. Two years of industry experience may substitute for one year of DoD experience (up to five years credit).
 * Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD programs.
 * Skills: Strong problem-solving, system design, collaboration, and quality control skills; ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend system improvements.

## Description

* Assess systems, identify problems, and provide solutions to technical challenges.
 * Design, upgrade, and maintain systems while identifying potential future improvements.
 * Collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and IT staff during system creation, implementation, and maintenance.
 * Develop control features to ensure systems meet organizational quality standards.
 * Conduct quality control procedures to ensure systems are efficient and operational.
 * Perform cost-benefit analyses to develop cost-effective solutions for projects.
