## About the Role

* Expert knowledge of PHP 5.6, 7 and 8, JavaScript and C.
 * Strong experience with C server-side programming, including asynchronous programming and threads.
 * Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.
 * Experience with AngularJS, Ajax, jQuery, CodeIgniter and Git/DevOps.
 * Knowledge of Linux/Red Hat environments.
 * Good understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
 * Knowledge of C#, Xamarin and related technologies is an advantage.
 * Strong communication, problem-solving and documentation skills.
 * Dutch, French and English proficiency.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to design, develop, maintain and improve critical PHP and C applications within a complex IT environment. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team working on the modernization of legacy systems and migration towards a modern architecture.
Key Responsibilities

 * Design, develop and test applications based on functional and technical requirements.
 * Develop and maintain PHP and C applications in a high-availability environment.
 * Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
 * Maintain and improve existing applications and provide technical support.
 * Develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services.
 * Contribute to technical architecture and propose improvements to existing solutions.
 * Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
 * Follow technological developments and provide technical recommendations.
