## Description

We are looking for an experienced Functional / Data Analyst to support the modernization of legacy and mainframe-based systems. The role focuses on analyzing existing applications, data structures and business processes and translating them into modern data models, functional processes and integration concepts.
Key Responsibilities

 * Analyze legacy/mainframe applications, data structures, data flows and business processes.
 * Document business logic, data definitions, dependencies and functional requirements.
 * Perform data mapping, impact analysis and semantic modelling.
 * Translate legacy requirements into modern functional processes, data models and integration concepts.
 * Contribute to the development of ontologies and semantic models.
 * Analyze and exploit logging, audit trails and data-query information.
 * Support the migration of applications, processes and data to modern platforms.
 * Validate migrated processes and data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
 * Collaborate with business users, architects, developers, DBAs, security specialists and project managers.
 * Facilitate workshops with domain experts and document outcomes.
