## About the Role

* Work independently with strong ownership and clear communication
 * Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in cloud environments and understanding real-world failure modes
 * Experience with GCP, including IAM, networking, and clusters
 * Experience managing infrastructure changes with Terraform
 * Experience with CI/CD systems, ideally GitHub Actions
 * Experience with GitOps workflows
 * Strong focus on monitoring, alerting, and system debuggability
 * Ability to contribute to development with TypeScript/Node.js, pipelines, or CLI tools
 * Understanding of modern backend architectures, including NestJS, REST/GraphQL, Pub/Sub, MongoDB, and Redis
 * Trade-off-oriented thinking with explicit decision-making
 * Nice to have: English, Spanish, and German language classes

## Description

* Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps with Flux
 * Make deployments predictable, reproducible, and safe
 * Improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automate where it adds leverage
 * Ensure strong observability using Prometheus and Grafana
 * Reduce platform friction, enable self-service, and set pragmatic standards
 * Debug production issues and focus on long-term fixes
 * Build small tools or automation in TypeScript/Node.js when appropriate
