## Description

QA Engineer - Fintech, Selenium, TesterQuant Capital is urgently looking for a QA Engineer to join our high profile client.Our client is in this year's fintech50 and well known to disrupt the global payments and Foreign exchange markets.The QA Engineer will work in conjunction with the business analysts to understand what enhancements are being made to the system as well as working with the developers to understand their implementation of the requirements. Testing and quality is a team effort, but the QA should focus on keeping these standards high in the team.QA Engineer will be part of a development team working through new projects and maintenance tasks. They will have a specific focus on performance and load testing, being able to offer advice, strategy and direction to the test team on these issues. They will be hands on with these tasks and also overseeing this type of testing across the team.The QA Engineer will also be responsible for:Develop the performance and load testing
strategy for the productExecute this strategy through hands on delivery of items and by assisting other teams to bring these concepts into their own testingInvestigate test results and assist teams with troubleshootingTake ownership of the testing and quality inside of your teamWork with the other QA members of your team to ensure that all work produced by your team meets your own high standardsEngage with the business analysts, developers and your development team lead to clearly understand the requirements of each system changeEnsure that acceptance criteria for issues are clear and understood before work beginsActively take initiative to find answers, consulting with the business and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solutionEnsure that regression testing is cleared with each releaseContribute to documentation where necessaryEnhance and support the automation test suite and frameworkPerform any manual testing that is requiredMake sure that all test steps
