## About the Role

* A passion for designing, building and delivering high-quality software solutions.
 * Strong commercial experience developing scalable backend applications using JVM languages such as Scala, Java or similar.
 * Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, maintainability and performance.
 * Experience working as part of a collaborative engineering team.
 * Experience contributing throughout the software development lifecycle, from implementation and testing through to deployment and support.
 * An interest in learning Scala and functional programming concepts, or experience applying similar principles in other modern backend languages.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.

## Description

As a Software Engineer, you'll work closely with experienced engineers across the business, contributing to the design, development and delivery of innovative solutions while continuing to develop your technical skills and expertise.
