## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience
 * 5+ years working with Public Cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
 * Advanced Linux or Open Source knowledge
 * Expert in Containerization ie Kubernetes
 * Solid understanding of cloud networking and security
 * Infrastructure and Configuration as Code methodologies
 * Detailed knowledge Microservices and DevOps
 * 3+ years in incident response and major incident management
 * Experience with the following technologies: Docker, Rancher, Virtualization, VPN, Kafka, RDP
 * Advanced Linux and Windows experience
 * Experience with the following is highly desirable: Confluence/Jira, Nagios, SSO, and SQL.

## Description

This role will be responsible for utilizing a diverse set of cloud technologies to support Centric Cloud Customers, and to help build and maintain a scalable, robust, highly available platform for Centric's C8 cloud application.

This position will report to the Senior Director, Cloud Operations.

Responsibilities:

 * Respond to and resolve time-critical customer issues in the public cloud
 * Perform customer deployments, migrations and upgrades in the cloud environment
 * Support automation projects including writing coding
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage servers in multiple cloud environments
 * Create, manage, and maintain Cloud networking components
 * Perform backups and restores of database and servers
 * Assist in ensuring security processes are followed and customer data is secured
 * Perform other administrative tasks in cloud environments as directed.
 * Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve issues
 * Build effective working relationships with cross-functional team member
 * Make suggestions for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies
