## About the Role

* Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Fachinformatikerin / Fachinformatiker (w/m/d) oder ein gleichwertiger, nachweislich anerkannter Abschluss
 * Mehrjährige, nachweisbare Erfahrung in IT-Support, IT-Administration oder Netzwerkadministration
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnologien (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN) sowie Erfahrung mit Netzwerk-Design und -Optimierung
 * Sicherer Umgang mit Linux-basierten Serversystemen (insbesondere Debian)
 * Tiefe Erfahrung mit SQL- und Non-SQL Datenbanken, inkl. Datenbankarchitektur, Migration und Performance-Optimierung
 * Idealerweise Expertise in einer oder mehreren Programmiersprachen (JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Python, LabVIEW)
 * Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
 * Hohe Eigeninitiative, ausgeprägte Lernbereitschaft und sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

## Description

* Leitung, Wartung und Weiterentwicklung der gesamten IT-Infrastruktur am IMKAAF einschließlich strategischer Planung und Ressourcenallokation
 * Eigenständige Bedarfsanalyse, übergreifende Beratung und maßgeschneiderte Bereitstellung von IT-Diensten für das gesamte Institut
 * Aufsicht, Wartung und Optimierung der Datenbank-Infrastruktur für Forschungsdaten
 * Konzeption, Implementierung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung eines Backup/Recovery-Managements
 * Erstellung und Leitung von Informations- und Weiterbildungsprogrammen zum Thema IT-Sicherheit und aktueller IT-Gefahren für alle IMKAAF-Mitarbeitenden
 * Optional: Unterstützung des Institutes bei wissenschaftlicher Programmierung und Software Entwicklung
