About the Role We are looking for a Kotlin Developer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work on modern software products, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment. This position is fully remote and open exclusively to candidates residing within the European Union. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain applications using Kotlin - Design and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions - Integrate APIs and third-party services - Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions - Troubleshoot issues and
optimize application performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment - Write clean, well-documented, and testable code Requirements - Commercial experience with Kotlin - Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns - Experience building backend services and APIs - Familiarity with relational databases and SQL - Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - Good written and spoken English communication skills - Residency in an EU country Nice to Have - Experience with Spring Boot or Ktor - Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines - Familiarity with cloud platform AWS - Experience with automated testing - Experience working in distributed remote teams What We Offer - Fully remote work - Flexible schedule - Long-term collaboration opportunities - Interesting international projects - Professional and supportive team environment -
