This role is responsible for defining platform architecture, establishing engineering standards, implementing secure cloud-native data services, and enabling enterprise-wide adoption of reusable data products and shared platform capabilities. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in cloud data platforms, data architecture, platform engineering, security, and DevSecOps practices with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and business functions. This individual will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and modern data ecosystems that support analytics, AI, digital transformation, and enterprise modernization initiatives., Enterprise Data Platform Architecture * Define and maintain target architecture for enterprise-scale cloud data platforms. * Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for data platform modernization. * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend scalable architectural solutions. * Establish standards and best practices for platform design, governance, and operations. * Design reusable platform capabilities that support multiple business units and use cases. Platform Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure * Design, build, and enhance cloud-native data platform services. * Develop secure, scalable, highly available, and multi-tenant platform architectures. * Establish operational guardrails, engineering standards, and automation frameworks. * Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or similar technologies. * Support platform reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence. Security & Compliance * Design and implement enterprise security controls for cloud data platforms. * Establish Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), encryption, auditing, and monitoring capabilities. * Partner with information security, governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure platform security alignment. * Promote DevSecOps principles and integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle. * Support security assessments, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation activities. Data Platform Enablement * Design and deliver shared platform services and reusable data products. * Create onboarding models and patterns for platform adoption. * Support cloud-based analytics, AI, machine learning, and data-driven initiatives. * Enable API-first and product-oriented approaches to data sharing and integration. * Drive enterprise consistency through standardized platform capabilities.
