Required Certifications The Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification - or similar - preferred for this role. Other Information * Demonstrating proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) * Demonstrating highly skilled administrative functions; quick and accurate alpha and numeric data entry, attentive to detail and effectively monitor progress towards completion of tasks. * Requiring a professional level of confidentiality handling sensitive employee and company information. * Developing and maintaining effective relationships with team members, managers, personnel clerks, employees, and the third party leave administrator. ## Description Supports the employee Return-To-Work (RTW) process, Job Accommodation process, and centralized coordination of intermittent leave. Works closely with Employees, Supervisors, our third-party LOA Administrator, HR Partners, and Payroll to effectively coordinate all of the administrative and transactional activities as employees return from a Leave of Absence (LOA)., * Review information provided by our third-party leave administrator regarding employees returning to work from a Leave of Absence (LOA). Communicate with employees, supervisors, HR colleagues and other stakeholders regarding leave inquiries and facilitate the referral to our (external) third party leave administrator. * Provide general guidance to employees and supervisors regarding leaves of absence and reasonable workplace accommodations, which requires an understanding of applicable laws, company policy and how each impact, work in conjunction with, or supersede each other. * Review employee requests for reasonable workplace accommodations and gather additional information from the employee, supervisor and business unit HR to assist in determining whether a reasonable workplace accommodation can be granted through the interactive process. Administer the Job Accommodation/ADAAA process as it relates to RTW. Consult with and/or escalate to Legal as necessary. * Create and maintain documentation of all related records in accordance with company policy, state and federal records retention requirements. Provide support to ensure compliance with federal and state laws regarding leave and reasonable workplace accommodations. * Help employees resolve leave issues, and answers questions related to the same.
