 7. Customer spec validation

## Description

Senior Firmware Test Engineers at Micron Technology lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive firmware validation strategies for enterprise SSDs using NAND Flash memory, applying white-box, grey-box, and black-box testing methodologies to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with NVMe, ONFI, and USB standards. They build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure using Jenkins and Python to automate test execution and regression analysis, collaborate cross-functionally with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and project managers in an Agile environment, and validate firmware across simulation platforms, FPGA prototypes, and hardware environments. Their responsibilities include creating test plans for SSD Front End features (e.g., SMART, Trim, OCP), verifying security protocols, analyzing failures, and driving continuous improvement in firmware quality. They also participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and apply deep domain expertise in NAND management
and storage protocols to enhance product validation and development efficiency.
