## About the Role

* Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, with hands-on Kubernetes experience in production.
 * Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across application and infrastructure environments.
 * Experience with automation and Scripting, including Unix Scripting.
 * Proficiency in any coding or Scripting language, such as Python or Java.
 * Strong Linux/Unix command-line fundamentals and experience working in cloud environments.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and observability tools such as Helm, Terraform, Grafana or Prometheus is advantageous.

## Description

Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.

What you'll do

 * Operate and maintain Kubernetes platforms across public and private cloud environments, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance.
 * Monitor platform health and manage incidents end-to-end, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
 * Maintain actionable observability through effective alerting, runbooks and documentation.
 * Support client onboarding and deliver platform improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
 * Develop automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort, improve performance and streamline processes.
 * Manage platform capacity, upgrades and life cycle activities to ensure infrastructure remains current and able to meet demand.
