About the role: We are building a next-generation Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform based on Xilinx RFSoC technology and we are looking for a hands-on Firmware Team Leader to drive it forward. You will own the firmware architecture, lead a multidisciplinary team, and stay deeply involved in the technical work; writing, reviewing, and debugging firmware alongside your engineers. If you have a strong FPGA background and a passion for RF or communications systems, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and grow a firmware engineering team across the full product development cycle. - Define and own the firmware architecture for the RFSoC-based SDR platform (data path, control path, RF front-end integration). - Hands-on design and implementation of FPGA logic using VHDL, Verilog, and/or High-Level Synthesis (HLS). - Lead the development of embedded firmware running on the ARM cores of the ## Related Videos - [More efficient software for more efficient microchips](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1164-more-efficient-software-for-more-efficient-microchips) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Unlocking the potential of Digital & IT at Vodafone](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/602-unlocking-the-potential-of-digital-it-at-vodafone) - [Docker exec without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1094-docker-exec-without-docker) - [Git for Code Reviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/429-git-for-code-reviews) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [What is Software Engineering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/289-what-is-software-engineering) - [How software is steering vehicle technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/515-how-software-is-steering-vehicle-technology) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Is Software Engineering Hard?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/448-is-software-engineering-hard)
