## About the Role

network security, leveraging APIs and scripting to replace manual work with scalable security code ("Shift Left"). - Cloud-Native Security: Lead the security strategy for the complex multi-cloud footprint (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on securing the perimeter and network edge in the cloud. - Lifecycle Management & Compliance: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Edge Defense technologies, from discovery to global scale, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, excluding GxP for non-manufacturing focus). - Business Translation: Connect technical security performance of the external network to broader business outcomes, ensuring security is an accelerator for R&D and other non-manufacturing environments. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Deeply understand customer and business needs to shape the strategic direction and digital roadmap for the Edge Defense product, focusing on delivering high-value outcomes. Who You Are Experience - 5+ years of experience in Information
Security is an asset - 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry is an asset - 5+ years of experience in people leadership, product/service management, program management or a similar role, with a proven track record of building high performing teams Education - Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field or equivalent experience - Professional Information Security certifications are a plus (e.g. CISSP, CISM) Technical Skills - Proven background and solid foundation in Information Security specifically in Network Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), NAC (e.g., Cisco ISE), and ZTNA solutions - Experience in multi-cloud environments is a plus - Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Change, and Problem Management) and Continuous Improvement methodologies -
Automation Mindset: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, scripting, and integrating security tools via APIs - Strong understanding of the product discovery and development lifecycle.
