You're comfortable balancing new feature development with ongoing system support and thrive when working as part of a high-performing agile team You must meet the below requirements: - Minimum 5 years' experience in software development - Experience working in the pathology industry with minimum 12 months' experience working with a Pathology Laboratory Information System (LIS) - Strong full-stack development experience using Python (Django) and React (TypeScript/JavaScript) - Experience working with PostgreSQL / SQL databases - Solid understanding of software development and engineering best practices - Excellent problem-solving, debugging and fault-finding skills - Strong time management and prioritisation skills - Experience working in Unix/Linux

## Description

Pathology Applications team, you will design, develop and maintain complex web-based software applications using Django and React. You'll work closely with developers, technical leads, testers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that replace and enhance existing pathology laboratory systems. Key responsibilities include: - Develop, test and maintain full-stack web applications using agile methodologies - Design and implement new features based on business and technical specifications - Investigate and resolve software defects raised by users and stakeholders - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices - Collaborate with development, UX/UI, QC testing and application specialist teams - Ensure solutions meet quality, security and governance standards, including SDLC requirements - Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and organisational information - Support a positive, agile and respectful team culture - Adhere to
