## About the Role

+ Masters or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or Mathematics

 + Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required

 + Interest in technology risk management and IT governance principles

 + Willing to pursue relevant professional designations (ex. CPA, CISA, CISSP, etc.)

 + Ability to travel to client sites as needed, included frequent same-day travel and occasional out-of-town travel, Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States. Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship for this position.

## Description

You will support the performance of technology, cybersecurity, privacy and general control audit/ advisory engagements, in addition to technical cybersecurity assessments. Under supervision of the Cybersecurity/Risk Accounting & Advisory Services (RAAS) Manager and Partner, you will help identify cybersecurity control weaknesses, design gaps, vulnerabilities, audit exceptions and inefficiencies with appropriate recommendations to management.

 + Support strong work papers conforming to the firm's methodology/standards and participation in report drafting

 + Identify and communicate results to leadership

 + Maintain a strong client focus by understanding the client's business needs while developing productive working relationships with client personnel in order to accomplish audit objectives

 + Demonstrate strong project management skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail

 + Cybersecurity Readiness Assessments
