Frontend & UI Framework (Oracle ADF) * Oracle ADF Suite: Mastery of Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) 11g/12c, including ADF Faces, ADF Controller, and ADF Model layers. * ADF Controller & Task Flows: Comprehensive experience designing bounded and unbounded ADF Task Flows, managing region popup beans, page flow scopes, and task flow calling conventions. * Data Bindings: Expert knowledge of configuring page definitions (pageDefs) and binding bindings (DataBindings.cpx) to expose business services to the UI. * JSF & Templating: Proficient in JSF (JavaServer Faces), creating .jspx pages, .jsff (JSF fragments) templates, and customizing ADF Skins (Trinidad CSS). * UI Error Handling: Custom handling of UI and data control exceptions and custom phase listeners. 3. Database Layer (Oracle Database & PL/SQL) * Advanced PL/SQL: Mastery of writing complex Oracle PL/SQL database structures, including robust Packages (pks/pkb), stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers. * Materialized Views: Designing and maintaining Materialized Views (MVs), MV Logs, and configuring Oracle DBMS Scheduler Jobs to manage scheduled refreshes. * Database Objects: Experience working with Oracle Sequences, custom Database Types (Arrays), and SQL query optimization. 4. System Integration & Standards * Logistics Standards: Familiarly with DLMS (Defense Logistics Management Standards) and MILSTRIP EDI transaction sets (e.g., 511R, 527D, 846R, 940R, 945A, 947I, 869F, 869A, 856S). * Data Processing: Experience writing parsers and handlers for flat-file pre-processing, XML mapping, CSV files, and Excel sheets (utilizing Apache POI libraries). * Security Integration: Implementing role-based security configurations via weblogic-application.xml and WebLogic security realms. 5. Build, CI/CD, & Development Tools * IDE: High proficiency with Oracle JDeveloper (11g/12c) and SQL Developer / TOAD. * Build Tools: Experience with Apache Maven (for multi-module project structures and local repositories) and familiarity with Apache Ant. * CI/CD & Source Control: Experience with Git and writing automated deployment pipelines (Jenkinsfile). * Application Server: Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server (deploying EAR/WAR archives, defining data sources, JNDI queues, and utilising Fast Swap). 6. Testing & Code Quality * Unit Testing: Strong focus on quality code with JUnit test suite creation and utilizing mock frameworks (mocking EntityManagers, Queries, and Logger Facades). ## Description We are seeking a Senior Java EE / Oracle ADF Developer to join our team in designing, developing, and maintaining the Mapping Enterprise Business System (MEBS). In this role, you will be responsible for the full-cycle development of highly secure enterprise logistics applications.
