We already have broad AI adoption across engineering and we're looking for someone to help define what comes next. You'll figure out where AI actually changes how we build software, turn what works into shared practice and tooling, and drive it across the org. We're vendor neutral on AI tools so you'll have room to try them out and shape what we adopt. The other half is keeping the lights on and you'll handle the day to day issues that would otherwise pull product engineers off their work. You'll start embedded on one product team so you have real context on how our engineers work, with scope that grows across teams over time. This is a fully remote position anywhere in North or South America. How You'll Make an Impact Here: * You'll be the primary engineer responsible for the infrastructure (as code), CI/CD systems, mobile release automation, data pipelines, and the monitoring that tells us when any of it breaks * You'll help set the direction for how we use AI across engineering and build the shared tooling, agent workflows, and automation behind it * You'll scale yourself across engineering through documentation, demos, and tooling other engineers can use on their own * You'll work closely with engineers across all our teams and you'll have real influence on the direction of our engineering practice ## Related Videos - [Coffee with Developers - Adam Wiggins](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/919-coffee-with-developers-adam-wiggins) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Forget Developer Platforms, Think Developer Productivity!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1121-forget-developer-platforms-think-developer-productivity) - [DevOps Maturity Check – a way to balance autonomy and alignment](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/58-devops-maturity-check-a-way-to-balance-autonomy-and-alignment) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 103 - Superb Owl Trafficking](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/388-dev-digest-103-superb-owl-trafficking) - [WeAreDevelopers Dev Digest Issue 116 - The new search wars…](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/445-wearedevelopers-dev-digest-issue-116-the-new-search-wars) - [Dev Digest 150 - The shift to AI generated code, fingerprinting and OKRs vs. doing your job](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/533-dev-digest-150-the-shift-to-ai-generated-code-fingerprinting-and-okrs-vs-doing-your-job) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift)
