This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You'll Do: * Maintain all the greenhouses and the common areas of the facility. * Dusting stairs, walls, doors and windows throughout the building. * Washing walls, windows and doors. * Sweeping and leaf blowing the parking lot and dumpster area. * Removing all trash from the facility and following proper waste disposal. * Leaf blowing, pressure washing, and sanitizing greenhouses using backpack sprayers. * Keeping the floors clean and clear of debris, water and algae. * Loading all the trash and discarded plants into bins and taking them to the dumpster or the compactor. * Separate pots from the discarded plants and save them to be palletized and wrapped * Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments. * Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. * Performs general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading and moving materials. * Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and reporting bulbs and lamps that need to be replaced. * Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, pulling weeds, sweeping, leaf blowing and snow removal. * Performs housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas. * Patrols grounds, common areas and parking lot.
