Associate degree or technical trade certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field strongly preferred. * Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on technical support experience (K-12 educational setting preferred). * Technical Certifications (Preferred): * Google Certified Educator or Google Admin credentials. * CompTIA A+ / Network+. * HP Aruba Associate (ACMA/ACSA) certification is a strong plus. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities * Hardware/OS: Proficiency in Google Chrome OS, Windows 10/11. * Google Workspace: Solid working knowledge of the Google Admin Console for device and account management. * Networking: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless standard protocols (Wi-Fi 6/6E), with specific familiarity with HP Aruba Central being highly desirable. * Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, patience with non-technical users, and a strong customer-service mindset when dealing with students and staff. * Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (boxes of devices, network equipment), climb ladders to access access points, and stand/walk for extended periods during school deployments. ## Description The School Field IT Technician serves as the primary hands-on technical support professional across designated school sites. This individual ensures seamless day-to-day operation of site technology, including classroom devices, interactive flat panels, network infrastructure, and district software. A central responsibility of this role includes Chromebook Fleet Management-overseeing inventory, distribution, user check-out/check-in, basic repair, and support via the Google Admin Console.
