## About the Role

* Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and normalization principles
 * Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
 * Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management
 * Ability to understand complex business requirements
 * Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
 * Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and integrity
 * Working knowledge of Python and C# programming
 * Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Pipelines, or similar orchestration tools
 * Experience with SQL Server and related suite of technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), and T-SQL development is preferred
 * Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * 0-2 years of experience with relational databases

## Description

Assist in designing logical and physical data models that support business requirements and analytical needs.

 * Help document data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.
 * Support the evaluation of new data technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure and collaborate with data engineers to ensure architectural designs are properly implemented.
 * Design and implement database designs for relational databases.
 * Participate in data governance initiatives, including metadata management and data lineage documentation, while contributing to the development of data integration strategies across multiple systems and platform.
 * Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
