Certifications * Associate-level network certification from a major vendor (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)). * Higher-level or security-focused certifications preferred., * 4+ years of professional experience in network engineering and enterprise networking environments. * Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with firewall and network security solutions, including: * Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) * IDS/IPS * Content filtering * RADIUS / TACACS * 802.1X authentication * VPN solutions * Minimum 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco-based networking environments. * Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet network and security platforms. * Federal networking experience preferred., * Strong ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple projects and operational demands. * Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. * Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends and best practices. ## Description The Network Engineer IV provides advanced engineering, design, and operational support for enterprise WAN/LAN environments, firewalls, and secure connectivity across multiple organizational locations.
