Helping people grow, setting clear direction and encouraging ownership comes naturally to you. A solid background in enterprise and/or service provider networking gives you the technical depth to challenge senior engineers. Wireless, routing and switching are familiar territory; knowledge of private 4G/5G is a plus. Vendors such as Juniper, Nokia, Fortinet and Extreme are part of your technical landscape, or you have worked with comparable technologies. You know how to translate Lean, continuous improvement or operational excellence into practical improvements. Creating structure, leading change and bringing people along are key strengths. Strategic thinking comes with a pragmatic, hands-on approach when needed. Your job in a nutshell Lead the team - Coach and develop the Network Engineering team, with a strong focus on ownership, autonomy and technical growth. Create structure - Build clear standards, processes and ways of working that support quality and efficiency. Drive improvement - Translate Lean and continuous improvement into practical changes in the day-to-day organisation. Enable smarter engineering - Encourage automation, knowledge sharing and more efficient ways of working. Provide technical direction - Stay close enough to the technology to challenge decisions and support the team in making the right technical choices. Strengthen collaboration - Work closely with Project Management, Operations, Support and other technical teams.
