This is a senior post: you would set the standards other projects build to. What you would be doing * Leading the development of architectures for complex solutions and keeping them consistent with agreed requirements. * Setting the policies, principles and practices for selecting solution architecture components. * Managing trade-offs between functional, service quality and systems management requirements, and communicating the decisions to stakeholders. * Coordinating the target architecture across several projects at once, keeping the design stable and standards-compliant. * Driving scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation on large initiatives - establishing baselines, negotiating competing priorities, and managing changes properly. * Setting systems development policy and making security and privacy integral to it, and managing the resources, technical, financial and quality targets across all stages. * Producing or approving network architectures, topologies and configuration databases, and specifying design parameters for connectivity, capacity, speed, interfacing, security and access. * Assessing network risk and specifying recovery routines and contingency procedures, with design views for each stakeholder group. ## Related Videos - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) - [ChatGPT and Java: A Match Made in Heaven or Hell?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/536-chatgpt-and-java-a-match-made-in-heaven-or-hell) - [Unlocking the potential of Digital & IT at Vodafone](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/602-unlocking-the-potential-of-digital-it-at-vodafone) - [Beyond UML: Making Sense of AI-Generated Code through Visual Architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2102-beyond-uml-making-sense-of-ai-generated-code-through-visual-architecture) - [Communicate efficiently with Software Architecture Diagrams](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/379-communicate-efficiently-with-software-architecture-diagrams) - [Security Pitfalls for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/726-security-pitfalls-for-software-engineers) ## Related Articles - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam) - [The 12 Best Jobs for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/401-the-12-best-jobs-for-software-engineers) - [Software Developer Salary in The Netherlands [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/217-software-developer-salary-in-the-netherlands-2023) - [The Netherlands – Europe’s powerhouse for software development?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/31-the-netherlands-europe-s-powerhouse-for-software-development) - [Fullstack developer salary in Germany [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/197-fullstack-developer-salary-in-germany-2023)
