Skills To Create Thrills - Education: Master's or PhD in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience: Strong hands-on experience in measurement, marketing science, experimentation, data science, or analytics, with a track record of delivering business-relevant insights from complex data. - Measurement Expertise: Strong understanding of causal inference, experimentation, statistical modelling, and media measurement, with practical experience applying approaches such as MMMs, PSA methods, GeoLift, holdout tests, or similar frameworks. - Execution: Able to independently structure ambiguous analytical problems, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality
outputs with consistency and attention to detail. - Commercial Mindset: Strong ability to connect analytical results to business decisions, investment trade-offs, and financial reality. - Technical Skills: Strong command of Python or R, SQL, and analytical workflows needed to support rigorous, reproducible measurement and modelling. - Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex methods and uncertain results in clear, pragmatic language tailored to different audiences. - Judgement: Sound judgement in ambiguous situations, including knowing when to apply advanced methods, when to simplify, when to challenge assumptions, and when to escalate risks or uncertainty.
