## About the Role

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Advisor with an IT Degree and technical support/customer service expereince (can include placement).

You should ideally have experience with:

 * Windows 10/11
 * Microsoft 365
 * Basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting
 * Remote support tools
 * Incident and request management
 * Excellent customer service and communication

A relevant IT qualification or ITIL certification would be advantageous, but practical experience and a strong customer-focused approach are equally important.

## Description

As an IT Help Desk Advisor, you will provide first-line technical support to users, acting as the initial point of contact for IT incidents and service requests., * Taking calls, emails and service desk requests

 * Troubleshooting hardware, software and access issues
 * Logging, prioritising and updating incidents within the ITSM system
 * Password resets and account administration
 * Supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 users
 * Troubleshooting basic network and connectivity issues
 * Escalating more complex technical issues to second-line teams
 * Keeping users informed throughout the incident lifecycle
 * Following established ITIL processes and procedures
 * Maintaining accurate documentation and knowledge articles, This is a 24/7 team, so you will work on a rotating shift pattern covering days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays where required.
