You are likely to have experience with several of the following: * Windows Server * Active Directory / Group Policy * Microsoft 365 / Azure * VMware or Hyper-V * Networking fundamentals - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs * Backup and disaster recovery * Monitoring and infrastructure management tools * PowerShell or other scripting technologies * ITIL-based service environments * Infrastructure security and patching Relevant Microsoft, VMware, Cisco or other industry certifications would be advantageous but are not essential. ## Description As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving a range of core IT infrastructure services. You will work closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and highly available. Typical responsibilities may include: * Supporting Windows Server environments and Active Directory * Managing Microsoft 365 and Azure services * Supporting virtualised environments such as VMware or Hyper-V * Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure performance * Managing networking, connectivity and core infrastructure services * Supporting backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions * Investigating and resolving escalated infrastructure incidents * Implementing infrastructure changes and technical improvements * Supporting security and patch management activities * Assisting with infrastructure projects, migrations and upgrades * Producing technical documentation and maintaining infrastructure standards, Temporary roles can be a great way to take control of your IT career, particularly if you're an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys variety and working in different technical environments.
