## About the Role

* Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
 * Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration within complex SAP environments.
 * Strong knowledge of SAP technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP ASE, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
 * Experience supporting enterprise SAP landscapes; experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
 * Knowledge of SAP security concepts and best practices.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a structured, independent approach to work.
 * Fluent German and good English language skills. SAP certifications are beneficial.

## Description

* Administer, maintain, and enhance SAP system landscapes (ABAP and Java), ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.
 * Manage SAP environments and underlying databases, including installations, upgrades, support packages, kernel updates, patch management, and system/client copies.
 * Provide 2nd-level technical support, troubleshoot complex SAP Basis issues, and optimise system performance.
 * Implement SAP security measures and support vulnerability management and system maintenance.
 * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, international teams, and external partners on SAP infrastructure and transformation projects, including the implementation of modern SAP and cloud technologies.
 * Support project delivery and take ownership of technical workstreams where required.
