BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Security 11. 8+ years of experience in Security or Software Engineering, including 3+ years of hands-on technical management in security engineering or security software engineering in product-driven environments 12. Proven track record of supporting security research, engineering, or other technical teams 13. Demonstrated experience in working across organizational boundaries to achieve company-wide impact 14. Experience leading and managing complex cross-functional programs 15. Scripting experience with an interpreted programming language (PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.) 16. Broad knowledge across security, systems design, offensive security, and detection engineering domains, 17. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) 18. Background in security-focused software engineering, designing large scale systems and data pipelines, or in offensive security 19. Expertise in one or more security domains such as web application security, Android security, and iOS security 20. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies 21. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) 22. Broad knowledge across the Security domain, as well as deep focus in one (or more) areas such as vulnerability detection and prevention ## Description Meta's security team is the central engine driving data and system security. You'll support a team of security engineers who specialize in web and mobileOS security. You will be working across engineering teams supporting Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
