A successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing security incidents, writing detailed reports, coordinating with response stakeholders, and driving positive service relationships among a diverse group of stakeholders and customers. Success in this role will require flexibility, bias for action, and a wide range of technical and interpersonal skills. Time management and continuous task prioritization is crucial to delivering support services in this dynamic, fast paced environment., Experience in physical security - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - 2+ years of experience related to emergency management, GSOC operations, or other physical security management roles in a high-volume, high-intensity environment. - Experience writing to include drafting, editing, and publishing written products such as incident reports, messaging products, and security alerts. - Experience with quickly collecting and analyzing data necessary to brief stakeholders on important, time sensitive security issues., Bachelor's degree/certification in the fields of emergency management, security management, project management, business continuity, or related disciplines. - Experience with access control and CCTV systems such as C*Cure, Lenel, or Avigilon. - Experience in emergency preparedness, developing and/or participating in incident response trainings and table top exercises. ## Description Amazon Corporate Security's (ACS) mission is to deliver a safe and secure workplace for all Amazonians. The Business Assurance Center (BAC) supports this mission by providing 24/7 global security operations center (GSOC) services to roughly 500k global corporate customers, serving as a single point of intake for corporate security issues worldwide., *Directly manage security incidents worldwide, working with response stakeholders and notifying key partner teams. *Coordinate with internal team members to ensure the effective triage and escalation of security incidents. *Draft written products and emergency communications with a high level of accuracy and detail. *Navigate a suite of technical resources to retrieve information and create reports in support of incident and crisis management activities as directed. *Participate in drills and table-top exercises, recommending improvements to BAC practices. A day in the life As an Incident Response Coordination Specialist, you will work within a team of specialists to manage physical security incidents worldwide. New hires must be able to navigate policies and procedures, and make sound decisions in the absence of guidance, escalating to team leaders when necessary. You must obsess over our customers, triaging and responding to their security needs. This is a shift-based role within a 24/7 operation. You may be expected to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
