## About the Role

* 7-9+ years in data architecture or advanced data engineering roles
 * Strong proficiency in data architecture and data modeling
 * Expertise in ETL, ELT, and modern data pipeline engineeringHands-on experience with Databricks and AWS (or similar cloud ecosystem)
 * Experience working with structured, unstructured, event-driven, and time-series data
 * Ability to design, interpret, and present architecture diagrams and system blueprints
 * Strong understanding of data governance, security, and secure data movement practices
 * Excellent communication skills-comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical partners

Bonus Points If You Have

 * Experience with Operational Technology (OT) data systems: SCADA, sensor/telemetry data, OSI PI, or similar
 + Familiarity with networking constructs that enable secure cross-environment data movement
 + Background building reusable data products or scalable enterprise data assets
 + Prior experience in highly regulated industries such as utilities
 + AWS or Databricks certifications

Education & Certifications You Need

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
 * Relevant cloud or data certifications are highly valued (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer)
