Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills * Experience with IBM Guardium. * Strong database security administration experience. * Knowledge of SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001/27002, or similar security and compliance standards. * Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation. * Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or AWS CLI. * Experience with Amazon CloudWatch and Performance Insights. * Experience with Multi-AZ deployments. * Experience managing Read Replicas. * Experience with Cross-Region Replication. * Experience with Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR). * Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud database architectures. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Database Administrator (DBA) with 8+ years of hands-on database administration experience and strong expertise in PostgreSQL and AWS cloud database technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive production experience managing PostgreSQL databases, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Amazon DocumentDB, and Amazon DynamoDB. This role will be responsible for database performance, availability, security, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, replication, migration, and overall operational support across cloud database environments.
