## About the Role

* 5–10 years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, or a closely related infrastructure role.
 * Strong hands-on knowledge of DOCSIS, including experience supporting DOCSIS-based network environments.
 * Experience with D-POE (DOCSIS Provisioning over Ethernet) systems and related network technologies.
 * Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, topology, routing, and network infrastructure design.
 * Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls, along with experience configuring network hardware and software.

## Description

* Design and implement enterprise network architectures, including network hardware, software, connectivity, and communications technologies.
 * Assess and optimize existing network environments to identify performance, capacity, and scalability gaps and develop recommendations for improvement.
 * Configure and support routers, switches, security appliances, and other network infrastructure components.
 * Establish and maintain network security, connectivity, access, firewall, and intrusion-detection controls while testing and tuning security technologies.
