## About the Role

Candidate must have administrator-level experience, not just monitoring., * Configuring APC Data Center Expert (DCE) / IT Advisor (ITA) OR Vertiv SiteScan

 * Adding and onboarding new devices
 * Building monitoring environments
 * Alert and alarm configuration
 * Threshold/setpoint programming
 * License management
 * Server administration and upgrades
 * Monitoring UPS, PDUs, power strips, cameras, HVAC systems, etc.

 2. Critical Facilities / MEP Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

 * HVAC systems
 * UPS systems
 * ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
 * Generators
 * Critical facility alarms
 * Electrical and mechanical infrastructure

 3. Data Center Facilities Experience

Experience supporting:

 * Data center operations
 * Cabinet space/U-space management
 * Power management
 * Environmental monitoring
 * Facility infrastructure

Preferred Background

 * Electrical Engineering
 * Critical Facilities Engineering
 * Data Center Facilities Operations
 * Building Management Systems (BMS)
 * MEP Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Additional Requirements

 * Incident management and change management experience
 * Asset inventory/documentation experience
 * Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
 * Strong written and verbal communication
 * Ability to work with vendors and cross-functional teams
 * Experience supporting 99.99% uptime environments
