## About the Role

* Professional software engineering experience, with ownership of complex
production systems.

 * Strong full-stack experience, including production React applications and distributed backend
services.

 * Experience working across TypeScript, Python, Go, and Java languages and codebases.
 * Strong AWS experience with EKS, EC2, S3, VPC networking, and infrastructure as code using
CDK, or CloudFormation.

 * Experience with websockets, streaming systems, and real-time user experiences.
 * Production Kubernetes experience, ideally including CRDs, custom controllers, or operators,
Helm and GitOps.

 * Strong production observability and operational ownership, including logs, metrics, alarms,
incident response, and reliability improvements.

 * Experience building active-active or active-passive architectures is a plus.
 * Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively through ambiguity.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or equivalent practical experience
