Candidates with military backgrounds should be evaluated based on the technical and leadership responsibilities they performed in service-not solely on whether they have held an equivalent civilian job title. Relevant military networking, communications, infrastructure, troubleshooting, technical leadership, and field-deployment experience may translate directly to the responsibilities of this position. Education/Certification(s)/License(s): * Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with equivalent professional or military experience * CCNA, CCNP, or comparable networking certification preferred * Relevant Cisco certifications are a plus * Relevant military technical training and demonstrated hands-on networking experience may be considered in place of traditional education or certifications ## Description The Lead Network Engineer will serve as the senior technical resource for one of two field deployment crews supporting Providence's Network Lifecycle pilot. Each Lead will oversee a four-person deployment crew consisting of the Lead Network Engineer, two Network Engineers, and one Network Cable Technician.
