## Description

Experteer Overview In this contract-to-hire role, you will design and build tools and pipelines supporting embedded Linux development. You'll collaborate with firmware, hardware, and QA to advance engineering processes and leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve quality and velocity. The position offers remote work via TEKsystems, with W2 employment and a Tampa-based contract-to-perm pathway. You will impact firmware validation, automation, and lifecycle quality gates while contributing to a scalable engineering ecosystem. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain tooling and infrastructure for embedded Linux development * Build and optimize automated firmware build, test, packaging, provisioning, flashing, recovery, and release pipelines * Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and board-farm automation for firmware validation and regression testing * Integrate static analysis, automated testing, and quality gates into the software development lifecycle * Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and QA engineers to improve engineering processes Tasks * Experience embedded software development using Linux, C++, and Python * Experience building AI-assisted engineering workflows (agent-driven tooling and autonomous engineering processes) * Ability to work on a W2 basis with TEKsystems (contractual requirement) * Background check and drug screening required Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Life Insurance * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Time Off/Leave (PTO)
