Qualifications / Experience - Manufacturing Applications Engineer

 * Experience in software development (e.g. C#, .NET, or similar technologies)
 * Knowledge of databases and/or web-based application development
 * Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or production environments is highly advantageous
 * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
 * Ability to translate user requirements into practical solutions
 * Comfortable working both independently and within a small, collaborative team
 * Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

## Description

* Design, develop, and support applications used within a live manufacturing environment
 * Own the full application lifecycle: requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement
 * Work closely with production, engineering, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day factory system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
 * Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimisation of manufacturing systems and applications
 * Manage and prioritise incidents, ensuring critical issues are resolved efficiently
 * Collaborate with wider infrastructure and IT teams to ensure system stability and scalability
 * Build strong relationships with internal users, delivering a high standard of customer support
