## About the Role

* Experience managing and updating websites using a content management system, ideally WordPress
 * Experience creating, editing and publishing digital content
 * Strong understanding of SEO and website optimisation principles
 * Experience using website analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics
 * Knowledge of website accessibility standards and best practice
 * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvements
 * Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve digital content

 * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
 * Ability to build effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders

## Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Website and Intranet Officer to join a well-established charity organisation on a temporary basis. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the organisation's website and intranet, ensuring both platforms remain engaging, accessible, user-friendly and effective in supporting organisational objectives., * Manage and maintain the organisation's website, ensuring content, functionality and user journeys remain accurate, engaging and up to date

 * Create, edit and publish digital content across website and intranet platforms
 * Monitor website functionality and resolve issues in a timely manner
 * Support website development projects and ongoing enhancements
 * Manage relationships with external web development agencies and digital suppliers
 * Analyse website performance data and provide recommendations to improve user experience and engagement
 * Optimise website content and structure to improve visibility across search engines and AI-powered search platforms
 * Lead ongoing improvements to SEO, accessibility, content discoverability and user journeys
 * Maintain and develop the organisation's intranet platform, ensuring information remains accessible and relevant to staff
 * Support colleagues with content creation and intranet management
 * Produce website performance reports and analyse key digital metrics using analytics tools
 * Ensure compliance with GDPR, accessibility standards and digital governance requirements
 * Monitor content quality, publishing controls and website governance processes
 * Support internal communications and engagement activities through digital channels
